Cuisine & Wines
If our guests dont feel like venturing out from the comfort of the
hotel, we have two restaurants and bars in the hotel.
We have given the famous Palm Court, one of Londons most elegant
and traditional restaurants a fresh dual personality for 2001. A room
steeped in history, with famous tea dances that still conjure up a feeling
of the 1920s. The Palm Court has a unique claim to fame because
it doubled as the Lounge of Titanic in the original film.
However the traditional Afternoon Tea still remains our Piece de
Resistance. The Palm Court Restaurant with its spacious and smart-casual
surroundings are the perfect venue for lunch or that relaxing dinner,
offering the very best of modern British cuisine, serious food with
not a lot of fuss or pomposity! The wine list boasts a great selection
of traditional favourites from the Waldorfs cellar, while blending
in modern, new world wines too. The Palm Court Balcony swoops temptingly
around the perimeter of the Palm Court.
