Heathrow

BAA's Heathrow Express is the revolutionary, non-stop train service between
Heathrow Airport and Paddington station in the heart of London. It's just

and from Terminal 4. Convenient and reliable, trains depart every 15 minutes,

BAA
London Gatwick
Gatwick is the busiest single runway airport in the world, the second
largest airport in the UK and the sixth busiest international airport
in the world.
Its
development strategy for the future focuses on the airport's expansion
as a single runway, two terminal airport, as it grows to handle around
40 million passengers a year, within the next ten years.
BAA
owns and operates seven UK airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Glasgow,
Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Southampton. We have management contracts or stakes
in eleven airports outside of the UK - Indianapolis in the USA, Naples
in Italy, Mauritius, Seeb and Salalah in Oman and six airports in Australia
(Melbourne, Perth, Alice Springs,Tennant Creek, Darwin and Launceston).
In addition we have retail management contracts at two airports in the
US, Pittsburgh and Boston Logan. Click here for more information.
Our
airports are at the heart of the global travel network. Nearly one in
five of the world's international air passengers travel through our UK
airports. BAA's integrated three-airport system makes London the world's
number one air travel destination. We are committed to growing with the
support and trust of our neighbours.
BAA
London Stansted
Stansted is London's third international gateway. With year on year growth
of around 19%, it is one of Europe's fastest growing airports.
The
continuing growth of passengers and the increasing number of airlines
who want to fly from Stansted are rewarding BAA's investment of more than
£500 million since 1986. A £200 million project to develop
Stansted to a capacity of 15 million began this year. Having broken even
in 1996/97, the airport now makes an operating profit.

BAA
investment has developed Stansted, the main base for low-cost European
scheduled airlines, the Heathrow Express rail link and many other infrastructure
improvements. We will enable the airports to keep pace with the demand
to travel, notably by building Terminal 5 at Heathrow. We underpin the
aviation industry which contributes £10.2 billion to UK gross domestic
product annually.
